hr369 Posted December 24, 2015 Share #50 Posted December 24, 2015 What happened to all the right hand drive parts? he's keeping them?I'm wondering if there are any shops out there that just put block-off plateswhen they do conversions like this so that they can easily be converted back to their originalconfiguration. That poor old 240z in the background doesn't get any attention at all. Very nice upholstery job btw. When I shipped my 280z over from long beach to hawaii, i could track the shiponline. I don't know how many cars you've shipped, but from my experience, check real goodfor anything damaged or missing BEFORE you sign the release papers. I hope its going inside a container too. borini63 Posted December 24, 2015 Author Share #51 Posted December 24, 2015 (edited) Thank You for the comment hr3969...it will be in a container and I have an idea about making sure everything is there before the release.....I went with 280ZX cross member and all the related parts and I think he got rid of all the 240K parts but I am sure ther are somwhere in the shop....That 70 Z in the back round they will start the resto when my car leavs there garage......as you can see the shop is packed!! They wilded the firewall from the right side and made factory like holes for the wiring,A/C lines, steering wheel column etc etc......I think used most of the parts to do the swap......even when they cut the plate for the steering wheel column.....here is a very short video just to give an idea.......My friend will send more pictures before shipping. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Au2aOepq3wE Edited December 24, 2015 by borini63 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/51858-kenmeri-coming-to-usa-very-soon/?page=5#findComment-483461 Share on other sites

I don't think the shipper will allow that because of theft issues. My shipper clearly stated that the car needed to be 1/4 tank gas and nothing inside the car or trunk. I hid parts and tools in the hidden compartments behind the seats in my 280z when i shipped mine. However your shipper may be different. Only way of knowing is visiting their website to look at the signed agreements you fill out before shipping.
