Hi all,

 

Just wanted to let you know that I finally finished a very large conversion of the Member Garages area.  If you have been a long term member, you'll remember this was a pretty cool feature of our old software.  When we made the conversion about a year ago, the feature was lost in the shuffle and never converted.

 

Well all of that has changed as of today!  All members who had a garage should now have them back again.  I'm sorry to say that a new garage doesn't necessarily mean you get a new car.  

 

Anyway, I just finished the final migration tonight.  Please feel free to take a look around.  And, if you did have your own garage in the past, please double-check to make sure all of your data is still in tact.  The garage module is an option on our main menu, or you can always click here: http://www.classiczcars.com/garage/

Ha, yea I think I had one for a car I owned back in 2010..  Hopefully everything it back to the condition it was before...  Let me know if you guys have any problems.

I was trying to put my Z in the garage. When I "add to garage" it won't do it and gives me this message:

"Sorry, you don't have permission for that!

Please go back and check that price fields and odometer fields don't contain commas. And are normal base 10 numbers."

I have no idea what to do about that. There is no commas in the odometer, and I have no price field filled in.

How can I get around this?

It was probably something in the system on my side.  I just went through all of the settings again and cleared the system (server) cache.  Can you try again?  Let me know if it works for you now.  Thanks.

I got the same message. All I entered was the nickname, vin#, odometer#, make, model, year and color. Just trying it out. The vin # is 11 decimals long, is that a problem? HLS3O277458?

No the VIN should be fine.  I just tried adding a new one and I noticed the file size was limited to 500KB.  I increased to 1GB.  Can you try again after I did this change?

 

I'd also like to know what else is on your system, browser, OS, blockers, are we in your trusted sites list, how many images you were uploading (try 1 at first).

I am using a Samsung android tablet. Not using a browser, just go to internet. I have no blockers up.

But I have no idea about trusted sites list, I have never even seen it on the tablet. Plus, I was only trying to upload 1 photo to use as the header one.

After that, I have no idea what's going on.

Ah, ok I didn't realize you were trying with a tablet.  I'll give it a shot with my Samsung Note 8 and get back to you.
