Welcome back to The Classic Zcar Club!  We have made a few changes around here and updated the layout.  Take a look around and feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions.  The changes will benefit most of you with a very easy to navigate system as well as support for both mobile and desktop users.  I'm impressed with these changes and encourage you to take a look at the massive improvements to the gallery, blogs, and downloads area.  Best of all, you'll be able to use this site from your mobile device to post pictures and keep up to speed while you're away from your computer.  Enjoy!

Mike

It's a shame it wiped my Tapatalk forums content clean though. I use that a lot and now all the followed content is gone....

I haven't finished the Tapatalk integration yet.  They should still be there once I finish the back end changes.

Man I'm really digging this drag-n-drop attachment feature a lot! ;)

Don't you still have to "choose" a file?  Not seeing a big difference.  Actually easier to use "choose files" since it opens a window for you.

Maybe I'm missing something.

Here's a new problem though: the left and right arrow keys don't work anymore.  I have to move the cursor with the mouse now if I want to go back in my line of text.  Odd.  Up and down and end work.  Left and right, not.

It might be different on another browser, I don't know.  But, I am using Chrome (Mac OS) and I have an option to "Drag files here to attach" below the editor.  When I have my file browser open, I can simply drag and drop my attachment to the post.  It's pretty sweet.  Maybe a HTML5 only option?  Meaning you may have to update to a more current browser or add our site to your trusted sites list.

I can drag and drop if I have a documents window open.  But when I use the "choose file" button, a documents window opens and I just have to find it and click once.  Drag and drop requires opening a doc window, finding the file, dragging and dropping.  Choose file opens the doc window, then you still have to find it and and click.

What would be nice is an outline/choose, and paste function.  Or outline-drag-drop.

Anyway, new toys to play with.  Always fun.

FYI, I just merged this topic with the original one I had created earlier.

As far as showing more of your attachments in the window, I would look at your profile first.  There may be an option there for it.  I'll have to look.

That does condense the list but it still shows threads in multiple sections

Patcon, this was a good suggestion.  So, I just added a new activity stream called "Unread Topic Stream"..  this new stream should only show you new topics that have replies and won't show you repeats if the same topic has multiple replies.  Give it a try and let me know if this is what you were looking for.

This is a great idea.  But it only works if you're signed in.  And it only shows "Unread" since you were last signed in.  It would be awesome if it was time-based.  Last 24 hours, etc.

Ok, changed it to 24 hours and all users can see it.
