Welcome back to The Classic Zcar Club!  We have made a few changes around here and updated the layout.  Take a look around and feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions.  The changes will benefit most of you with a very easy to navigate system as well as support for both mobile and desktop users.  I'm impressed with these changes and encourage you to take a look at the massive improvements to the gallery, blogs, and downloads area.  Best of all, you'll be able to use this site from your mobile device to post pictures and keep up to speed while you're away from your computer.  Enjoy!

Mike

Mike I had an issue attaching pictures.  The pic was just under 1000k and i received a generic error that says "There was a problem processing the uploaded file. -200".  I assumed the file was too big so i resized it and that resolved the problem.  I expected some sort of auto resizing tool to kick in or at least a more helpful error.  I got the same error on android and my desktop, both running chrome.

Yeah, there should be some more grey in the background to make the forum more read-able

Hi Bart, ok I'll look into making the quote area a little different color.  I think we had this same feedback when we migrated last time and I'll fix it.

Just noticed that there are no post numbers.  Makes it difficult to refer back to somebody's comments.

Yea, I noticed the new design has less to do with post numbers and more to do with quoting.  I'll see what I can dig up in the settings.  For now, my suggestion is to use the quoting feature as much as you can.  There are some pretty cool features with it and I'll do some kind of readme or a small video on how to use it better.

Also among the missing is a listing of the member's registration number below the avatar on each message.  I liked that feature as it gave me an idea of how long the poster has been a member of the group.  Nice for identifying new guys without going to their profile.

Ah, yes this was a custom code I wrote for the previous version.  I can do it again.

I found this was an issue with the PHP system.  I'm checking for the correct setting and I'll get back to you when it's fixed.

Bart it looks like you may have a bookmark to our old home page.  This was a good find, I just fixed it so others won't have the same problem.  You can modify your bookmark to our main website address it would be better: http://www.classiczcars.com

Mike

It works now, thanks

Hey guys, I just created a new database for us to track issues and suggestions.  This is so we can keep the forums clean and I can track these ideas easily.  If you have a suggestion, or bug, can you please log them in the tracker?  You can find the link under "Support -> Tracker" or just click here.

Thank you and keep the ideas coming!

Can you try to do your upload again?  I changed a value in the PHP settings and it should work now.  Let me know, thanks.

I had a problem duplicating the "new since last visit" options from the old format. I ended up creating a custom activity action to replace it. I liked the feature that allowed me to alter the criteria when needed like "posted in the last day" when I had to find a recent post.
