Turned off the "Content Items Only" button, upper left, and I think it's working.  Not sure what the difference is between Content items, comments, and reviews.  Is a post not content?  Or are posts comments?  Content, comment, post...?  I get the review part though.

You've already found one of the big improvements to the site.  Activity, including most recent, can be customized to your own liking by creating your own search tools.  There area a lot of 'canned' recent activity streams as well.  The one button you'll want to use the most is Activity -> Unread Content.  This will give you the ability to catch up from where you left off since the last time you visited the site.  I like the ability it also gives you to create your own search criteria and memorizes it for future visits.  For instance, if you wanted to create a search topic that contains 240z activity, you could do that and save it for review every time you visit.

Don't forget to also check the box on the threads you want to be notified if someone replies.  There is a new button at the bottom of every thread that reads 'Notify me of replies' ..  when you toggle this feature the system will send you an email when someone replies to the thread.

Found it.  "All Activity", upper right loads new stuff, signed in or not.  Maybe Mike fixed it, I thought I tried it before.

This is probably just a 'first day' thing that needed to catch up.  Right now the system has to add more cookies to your browser session in order to remember where you left off since your last visit.  Most cookies from the old site will need to be updated since we just launched this morning.
