240z overheating at idle in traffic lights and intersections

Questions: Isnt the Factory heat shield that my car came with enough? I also noticed my Pertronix 40511 coil is getting as hot as hell. You arent able to hold it in your hand for more than 1 second. My car idle becomes rough when the coil gets as described.

It still overheats in heavy traffic conditions. I read that this L Series engine with carbs suffer from this and that at idle plugs get sooty. Apparently the only remedy is to install electric pusher fans. But which one would you recommend?Screenshot_20200122-220124_Instagram.jpg
