That tape looks like it's to the injectors. Maybe they're new or he cleaned the connectors? or both. I would rather have a 76 than a 78. No smog crap to deal with. Probably has the n42 intake which is desirable. Be happy with your car! I would be.

You've gone 1/2 circle, from not enough pictures to not enough words.  If you're trying to indicate that there's definitely water in the oil, then...bummer.

Check the cylinders for head-related problems.  Spin the engine with no spark plugs.  If any water droplets at all show up, you'll need to pull the head.  If the PO replaced a head gasket because of overheating he should have had the head checked for warpage.  You might have bought a problem engine.

After a couple of months we've got the car to run again. The problem was bad fuel and we had to purge all the lines out with clean fuel. We also changed the fuel pump and fuel filter. But we ran into another issue, the car is over fueling. One of my friends who's a mechanic said to see if we can find new injectors. But is that the only option for this problem. We also put a bottle of sea foam in the gas to clean the injectors so it could burn the bad fuel. We've been fueling it with premium but it might be too rich. Any thoughts? Sorry for the late post

You should put a cheap fuel pressure gauge on one of the fuel lines. Your return line could be pinched or clogged. Fuel pressure regulator may be bad, is the vacuum hose connected to it? Hard to believe all six injectors went bad. Tap them with a screwdriver to unstick the pintle's valve maybe? You can put the screwdriver handle to your ear and the tip on the injector body and listen for a tapping noise. If they're tapping they are working.

Good luck!
