Windshield wiper motor bag got painted in white

While painting the engine bay of my 240z , the shop went over and painted the bag that encloses the windshield wiper motor in 904 White. Is this okay or will it look much better in the original black color? I hope the paint can come off!

Any thing you could use to take the paint off will probably destroy the bag. If you want it black, buy a new one from Banzai...

DOT 3 brake fluid is a wonderful paint remover (look at your brake vacuum booster and below the master if you need proof) and will not harm plastics. Give it a shot.

I used rust-oleum paint stripper to clean mine. The green nr.1 is not so aggressive. Ill post some before and after shot when I get home.  http://www.rust-oleum.eu/paintstripper

I've had success using airplane stripper and then lacquer thinner.

BTW mine was blue under the red, so it was moet probably painted in the factory. Your paint shop gave it the "factory look" so to speak.

I've yet to see an original wiper motor bag without factory overspray. I do think they look better in black.

Nice! I will tell them to use a paint stripper  or remover! By the way i got 2 cans of spray Graphite color to paint the front grill and license plate surrounding panels.
