I noticed that we now have a "Level Number" by our names.  What does one have to do to get to a whole nuther level?  What's the highest level I can hope to achieve?

Actually, when I see how many posts I have I feel the urge to to post less.  Mentally - "I'm spending too much time here...".  So, maybe, counter-intuitive results.

CO, this might be just sour grapes on your part as your 'Posts to Likes' ratio is an unimpressive 9.2 I'm sure you could do better if you really cared.

Not sour grapes... You guys got the inverse of the fraction I was musing. Kind of a "percentage of the number of posts that received a like" or something like that.

 

I'm running around 11 percent.

Post whore Zed Head is running around 5 percent.

Granny, you and Wheeeeeeee are crushing it with a high quality rating over 17 percent.

And Mike is bottom feeding with about 2 percent, but that's because the likes system started long after his post count was already astronomical. I believe Zed is hampered by the same phenomena.

 

So clearly the above isn't quite the right way to do it, but just thinking that if there is a "rank" at all (and I'm not sure there should be) there should be some measure of quality as opposed to simply quantity.

 

And Mike... If we haven't already poo-pooed the idea into extinction, whatever rating system you do implement, please make sure it goes to 11?

 

PS - I'm with you Dennis. I just chased some kids off my lawn. It was wonderful. One of them even gave me the finger!

I pulled the ranks (level number) offline while I can think (and experiment) with this a bit more.

It looks like a penis and mine says 10 so what's the problem?
