Mike posts often about the importance of ads and keeping members and supporting the site.  So I think it's relevant to post about why the site could be losing the target audience.  Porn.  We've had several female members and some young people, father/son prjects of members who had Z car projects in the past.  But they're all gone now, haven't seen a hint.  I've been at other computers where czcc.com is blocked by parental control programs.  So I have to wonder if it's not stuff like these images that are part of the problem.  Personally, when I'm in "car mode", a pair of big boobs is almost irritating.  If I want boobs I can go to Google and type "boobs" and I'll see plenty.

Posting this mainly for @Mike, so he can manage the site and make money and also just 'cause I hate an inconsistency.  But comments from other members might be informative also.

p.s. short version - I'm getting tired of seeing that pair of boobs holding the fish.  

I think a little muff hair can be seen also. 

I am a new member and probably shouldn't have a say on this, but if there was a way to block that section from coming up I would block it. Not that I want to deprive anyone else's fun I personally could do without it. To each their own.

Sorry sb, I'm not sure what you're saying.  "anything like this" means what?  You don't have the fish and boobs at the bottom of your page?  Or you just didn't notice. 

I wouldn't be surprised if it was my computer with malware or the region I live in (ever noticed that the web sites know what server you're accessing the internet from) or some other thing.  If nobody sees the boobs holding fish but me then obviously it's just my problem.  

I also wouldn't be surprised if there were algorithms out there that changed what's shown based on what's searched on Google.  It is Google adsense that controls most of what we see after all.  For example after I posted about javascript videos, and searched about them and figured out that I couldn't stop them, now I see less javascript videos.  If I was a coder I'd write code that reduces frequency if people searched about the problem, to hide.  The whole point of advertising on the internet is to get anonymous people to buy stuff.  They don't care at all about quality of the internet experience. just the ad dollars.  They'll just keep chipping away, a penny at a time, collecting revenue wherever they can get it.

Anyway, it sounds like you're saying that you only see the boobs on my posts.  Maybe my computer is infested with boobs.  Sorry.

I'm not sure how you've come to the conclusion that porn is causing us to lose target audience, I would be interested to know what data you've gathered to think this could be the problem.  I'm also interested to know the name of the parental control software that's blocking our site on the other computers you've been using.  I'm asking because most of these parental programs rely on 3rd party companies to categorize websites according to their content.  The software can either block or warn the user based on the category and parental limits pre-set in the software.  I don't currently know of any software that is blocking our site.

I have worked hard to make sure that our site remains on the "safe list" on most of the services such as Google Safe Browsing, Norton Safe Web, Brightcloud, etc..  Our website is currently categorized as safe (trustworthy) and falls under the category of Automotive Forums or Social Forums.  Neither should be flagged as inappropriate.

The boobs forum is clearly marked and can be put on your "ignore" list to assure nothing accidentally slips through.  Other posts, such as the girl with the fish, can be cleaned up easily and I just did that tonight (it may take a day or two for Google to update the footer links).  The last flash image you posted is totally censored.

Just an assumption.  You can go that way if you want.  I just assumed the focus was cars and that the boobs weren't supposed to be there.  The titles under the boobs  in those ads are actual thread titles I think, so somebody's thread got hijacked by boobs, I'd guess, which doesn't seem right.

Besides the parental control, I've mentioned in the past that I'd like to be able to surf the site without having relatives and friends see Japanese dating sites or boobs when they look over my shoulder.  I can't do that now, czcc always always has an awkward picture on the page.

You're welcome for the notification that an image that needs censoring was being displayed.  It's been there for many months, I finally just got tired of it.  No problem, I'll try to keep notifying when things get weird.

I didn't mention the Boobs thread at all.  That just entered your thoughts, subliminally maybe.  This was just about the ads displayed on every page.  Did you really look at that ad?  It has no place here.

FYI, the footer links are generated based on popular content from our site.  Google builds the footer based on content from our site.  They mix in a few ads and show about 8 different links.  If the forum post contains an attachment, this will be displayed.  The girl holding the fish is a good example of an attachment that was posted by one of our members and for some (pretty obvious) reason it became a popular topic.  Based on the number of hits on that topic, it looks to me like boobs may actually create MORE traffic and ad revenue.

If you want to go porn, then go porn.  There's good money in it.  Please change your avatar picture though.  It creeps me out to talk about making money from porn and see that at the same time.  Seriously, there's an inconsistency there.  No offense, maybe you just don't see it.

I see it too, based on your complaint I removed the thread with the image.  It may take Google a few more days to update the footer.  Please let me know if it's still there by Thursday.

The image was attached to one of the replies.  Google probably included it because of the popularity of the image.  I just removed the post so it should update soon.
