Anybody else noticing a very very very long time to open the page when first getting on?  Seems normal after it loads, like it's loading a whole ton of background stuff first.  It must be loading something because the page doesn't time-out.  It just takes forever to open.

Didn't happen for me either, this time, thankfully.  I haven't been working on the server so please let me know if it happens again.

Almost unusable today.  The spinning circle just spins and nothing happens, while I go out and look at other web pages.  Happens in Firefox too, I'm on Chrome now.

It's only CZCC, since yesterday.  After I get signed in it seems fairly normal, but I don't stay signed in and I'm often on a home computer.  Maybe it's optimized for mobile users who stay signed in.

 I'm using Chrome too. No problems lately.

What happens if you log out and shut down your browser then restart?

I use Incognito so that all of the cookies get dumped when I shut down the browser.  It makes a difference in overall speed, those cookies get heavy when you get a bunch of them.  Maybe it's the cookies.  

All I know is that for a typical sit-down here, I run through my usual information sites before CZCC even opens, often, since yesterday.  It'll be worse when the weather gets better.

CZC has worked great for me but I've never signed out since the day I joined.

I just got the forever spinner again even though I'm logged in and haven't shut anything down.  

Could be just my computer but I doubt it.  If you're on the edge as far as visits you might just decide CZCC is too slow to click on.  It should show up in the stats so I'm only setting the start mark.  5/1/17.  Maybe it's the anarchists.

My computer got tired of waiting so it brought up this primitive sign in page.  Now that I'm in it seems normal.  The \discover\20 page and the sign-in page are the problem pages.

Zed, do you have any blockers running?  That could impact the site.

It does it in Firefox also, no blockers.  Still doing it today.  Maybe one of the other Z sites installed some malware.

If anyone's been reading the news lately you can see why people run blockers.  No need to restart the "just submit and life will be better" discussion.

I just downloaded Firefox on my other PC and tried it.  No problems using stock installation.  Zed, can you provide steps to reproduce the problem?  I can give it a try to see if  I can reproduce it.
