frankensteinZ Posted May 8, 2003 Author Share #2 Posted May 8, 2003 I still have no wiper motor, this sucks driving in the rain. If anybody has an extra one, please for the saftey of your fellow man, let me know. EScanlon Posted May 8, 2003 Share #3 Posted May 8, 2003 Use the Rain X in the YELLOW bottle for the outside of your glass. Trust me, you'll love it and you won't miss the wiper motor that much.On another note, NEVER use the interior anti-fog stuff. That stuff is absolutely the WORST product ever. That's the stuff that comes in a black bottle.FWIW Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/5762-wiper-motor/#findComment-36670 Share on other sites
2ManyZs Posted May 8, 2003 Share #4 Posted May 8, 2003 Rain-X will work, but it's still nice to have a working wiper motor... I'm checking my "inventory" to see if I have one.... Victor Laury Posted May 8, 2003 Share #5 Posted May 8, 2003 When you find one, don't throw your old one away! A good motor shop can rebuild it. They are getting too rare to waste. slumsden Posted May 8, 2003 Share #6 Posted May 8, 2003 Hey Frankenstein, I've got a wiper motor. It came off a 73 parts car. I'm sure it'll work, but not sure about the connector. you might have to re-wire the connector and use your existing one. It's in Placerville, CA. 95667. I'll let it go for $25.00 plus you pay the shipping. Is that fair?Reply to me at :jsl3@pge.com Or call me at work 916.408.3231Scott Lumsden Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/5762-wiper-motor/#findComment-36688 Share on other sites
frankensteinZ Posted May 8, 2003 Author Share #7 Posted May 8, 2003 Hey victor, yeah that is what I thought, so I took it down to a place called auto electric here in my town. They are very reputable with this stuff. The guy told me he could get the parts any more. He said the armature was shot and so were some bushings. At least I think thats what he said. But anyways that leads me to my current spot.Appreciate the thought though,Frankenstein Z Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/5762-wiper-motor/#findComment-36691 Share on other sites
