Hi all,

I'm excited to let you know that we have made some upgrades to the site.  Take a look at the following new and/or improved features!

• Social Media Promotion - You now have the capability to link popular topics to social media.  More to come as this feature is adopted and promoted.
• Clubs - Our website now has the capability to launch new clubs within the site.  If you're looking to start a new club, for a select number of members, please let me know.  The club feature is great if you want to group your discussions based on interests.  For instance, if you're interested in starting a local Z group we can host the club here.
• New Reactions - The "like" system has been improved to include multiple icon-based responses to posts.  We now have the typical like button, but, have included confused, sad, awards, etc..
• Complete Your Profile - You've probably noticed an alert at the top of your screen.  This feature is going to be especially helpful for new users who don't know what to do once they join.  This will be enhanced as we add new features.
• Gallery Improvements - This is one of my favorite because it provides a less confusing upload process to our gallery.  I'm always up for easier integration.
• Calendar Events - This area has been improved to provide venues (event locations) and reminders.  Now, if you're interested in an event, you can be reminded as the date approaches.
• Letters as Profile Photos - If you haven't yet uploaded your own profile photo, you'll notice a letter will appear in your profile.
• And many other admin-based features.

Yes, sorry about unread content feature.  I'm working on the bug now.  It may not be up until tomorrow.  Apologies.

Yes I just fixed it a second ago.  Wow, you are fast.

Ok I fixed a few things.  The unread content is fixed and Bender has been disabled (poor guy).

 

Now I'm looking into this thing about mandatory profile updating...

Just tried to check my Garage, got a "configuration or server error" msg.  No rush - work on higher priority items.

Hi @jfa.series1, thanks for letting me know.  Can you tell me what you clicked on to get that error?  It will help steer me in the right direction.   Thx.

 Got another one for you to look at in your spare time. Our little friend Bender is back on "Unread Content" but not on "Topics Last 24 Hours" so I've been using that. I'd prefer not to have B. on either, same as before. Is that something I can change in my settings or is it on your end. No hurry at all. Thank you for all your work in starting and keeping this site a breath of fresh air.

Mike - I was in my profile and clicked on the Garage tab.  Thanks, Jim

Just a little thing, but I went to my profile and there was nothing in my garage. Then went to the about me section and there's a whole string of photos of Z's that I would love to have, but alas, are not mine.    Does the new software tap into our dreams?

The Bender feed has been disabled so you shouldn't see anything new.  The old ones were probably from a day or two ago, so, let's let them fall off the end.  Check back later today if you can and let me know if they are still coming in.

Looks like I needed to run an update to the Garage system.  I just did it this morning.  Can you try the garage link from your profile again to see if it's working now?  It worked for me, but, I'm admin and have all permissions.  If it's not working for you, I may have a permission set wrong.  Let me know, thanks.

 Thanks Mike. Bender is indeed gone from unread content. I'd also like to see the  post #'s back in the future. Once again, Thank You.

Mike I see the new system doesn't number the responses now.  It's impossible

to reference a previous response  by the number if you don't have the number.
