sweaty's image will "open" (the little hand) but site's won't (only an arrow) in this thread.  Format ID issue?

I noticed that a few minutes ago when posting the cam sprocket, it won't "blow up" like usual and I got it off my ATTACHMENTS???

Hey @Zed Head, not sure I understand the problem.  Can you tell me how to reproduce the issue?

Mike

Go to the end of the saturdays adventure thread, find siteunseen's image of a big bottle of tobacco juice that says "Tobacco spit...yummy" and click on it.  Nothing will happen.

Or find siteunseen's image of a timing chain sprocket in the link below and do the same.  It should blow up in another window but it doesn't.  The cursor is the shape of an arrow, not the pointer.

Hey @Mike.  I've been adding photos by going to "my attachments" under my username in the upper right hand corner forever.  I copy and paste them from the thumbnail, that's the only way I've figured out how to do it.  When I click on the thumbnail it blows up to a larger image with a magnifying glass but won't let me "copy image".  Only the thumbnail allows that.  I've been doing it that way for years and it has worked as far as "blowing up" the image in the thread reply.

I'll try adding one to the "choose files..." and see if that works.  Thanks.  Cliff

EDIT: the cursor is in the bottom photo but it doesn't get any bigger?  Not a problem for me but the person I'm posting the photo for can't see the details.  Anyway, no big deal for me and THANK YOU for all you do for us. Cliff

7too, your pictures open in a new tab. Edit - actually it opens in the same tab and you have to back-arrow to get back tho the thread. .  Site's either don't open or open in their tiny form.

Here's one that I added, using the "choose files" method, directly from my computer.  You have to back-arrow here also.  I don't remember it being this way before.  Used to just open a window overlaid on the thread, which disappeared when you hit "Esc".

Edit 2 - I see what you're doing Patcon. I'll try it too.  I might have turned off email notifications or something.  @Zed Head
