I think you're looking at the wrong settings.  You want to look under General Settings. E-Mail column is on the right.

I think that Mike might have turned something on when he was messing with images.  That's when I started getting spammed.  Every post that I replied to was an automatic follow after that.  I think that you have to unfollow each one now.  Can't find Chickenman's page...

@Mike

You can unfollow a bunch at once on this page, from the drop-down under your name at the top right. you have to click "Topics".-

I don't have a "General Settings" option.  Just these choices.

I found Chickenman's page.  It's under Notifications.  So there's two spam areas, Notifications, and Follows.  You can do Follows at "Manage Followed Content" and Notifications as CM says.

Here's where CM's picture came from.  Click that and scroll down.

I clicked on "Account Settings" from this drop down menu to disable some of my notifications.  My phone's been dinging all weekend with e-mail alerts. :huh:

Why the hell do web site forum software companies have to screw with stuff?  So many A-D-D freaks in the world now not leaving well enough alone..... I see it all the time.

It seems these days the young generation just change things for the sake of change... not to make it better... evolution gone retarded.

So they can charge more when they "fix it".  Remember "New Coke"? :)

I'm getting notifications to this Topic as well now. But only this Topic.

I've also noted a new Button at the bottom of the reply box. " Notify me of replies " It's defaulted to  Enabled.

I've switched it off and will see if it changes anything. Doesn't seem to remember that setting though

Think this may be part of the problem. Under Notification Settings there is also a selection for "Someone comments on something I follow ". The Notificatication button to enable/Disable this feature for both Browser Notification and E-Mail notification are locked on " On " and the Option to Toggle has been " Disabled by Administrator" .
