Reptoid Overlords Posted April 27, 2018 Share #16 Posted April 27, 2018 My local Nissan dealer quoted me something like $120 for the head bolts and told me that Nissan head gaskets for "those old cars" aren't available. I haven't tried Nissan of Bellevue yet. They host local Z club events and might be a bit more informative. That's why I never have "cruise ship" money but I sleep good every night. The beer helps too. The real nissan's have a small 13 stamped in the bolts head. zKars Posted April 28, 2018 Share #23 Posted April 28, 2018 I would think the old washers you have would last for all eternity. Unless you lost a couple of course. 2 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/59852-new-head-install-question/?page=2#findComment-548141 Share on other sites
siteunseen Posted April 28, 2018 Share #24 Posted April 28, 2018 I replaced mine because they had lost the "cup", flattened out. I'd read cupped side down and couldn't tell on the old ones.
