Mark Maras Posted September 29, 2018 Share #157 Posted September 29, 2018 Good job but, no ride yet. Now disconnect the wires from the cap and connect them to the spark plugs which have been removed. Measure the resistance from the center pole on the bottom of the plug and the connector on the wires that goes to the dist. cap. Mark Maras Posted September 29, 2018 Share #159 Posted September 29, 2018 Ok, Now with the wires connected to the plugs and cap, measure the resistance from each of the contacts inside the cap to the center electrode on each spark plug. Mark Maras Posted September 29, 2018 Share #161 Posted September 29, 2018 Ok, If you've completed all the tests and found everything looking good put it back together with good (or new) plugs and take it for a run and then let it idle. I'm hoping that you've improved the connections while doing the tests. Let us know. That was 10 years ago at least. Are you Jorge Alex or Jalex? Again I'm sorry if I've confused you with another person. Zed Head Posted September 29, 2018 Share #163 Posted September 29, 2018 I started a new thread on just the unusual pattern of fouling. Somebody might have seen it before. It's weird. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/60072-misfiring-while-cruising/?page=14#findComment-558480 Share on other sites

Should i leav the timing at 14 btdc? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/60072-misfiring-while-cruising/?page=14#findComment-558535 Share on other sites

Still have not left it idling. 1 2 3 4 5 6 spark plug order Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/60072-misfiring-while-cruising/?page=14#findComment-558558 Share on other sites
