The problem mentioned in the fire truck crash is to see ahead through the windows of cars in front. It is like the sensors can only see what is immediately in front of them.... not like us dumb humans who can tell what is going on 500m ahead most of the time.

 

I bet the industry will lobby govt; who will yield, to mandate ID and location transmitters (tracking emitters) on all new vehicles so that their position can be "seen" by these current poor systems that crash and kill.

And... yet another distraction for following drivers who will following too close while attempting to read the display. :wham::crashh:

Also, lets get the timer started on how long it takes to hack the display for some really choice words or images.  :omg:
