Here's his facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/stevefafsa  You can see that his Facebook profile image pushed to our site.  Looks like a normal guy, not a hacker.  He likely used the Facebook SSO option to register here and hasn't participated on our site.

Hey Mike. Glad you posted as I'm gonna ask you a question about facebook. I'm on there the past two months selling some stuff on a local yard sale page. I'm getting 10 to 20 junks per day!  Never happened before and I've had that handle since '94.

Is it facebook in your opinion?  Thank you for a reply. Cliff

Where are you getting the junk messages?  On Facebook?

Facebook has gone downhill in my opinion, it's full of fake accounts and hard for me to know who is a legitimate person versus an ad bot.  That's why I enabled Q&A for all new registrations on our facebook group.  I simply deny anyone who answers the questions with invalid (or no) answers.

@Zed Head, these updates don't look like strange people to me.  For instance, the guy you mentioned above Robert Haines appears to be a Vetran and his profile pic at Facebook looks like a rose image he uploaded for October awareness month.

I'll jump into the admin panel to find out why we are seeing more from 2015 than other years.  We should be seeing all years, not limited to 2015.

The whole thing is just weird Mike, to me, as just a normal club member browsing the site.  Strange people with no posts, never visit the site, and odd pictures.  Do they even know that they're members here?  Wouldn't be a surprise if they didn't.  Most people here have car avatars, not Facebook style horses and clowns.  I guess if you're a Facebook kind of person it looks normal, but not here.

They never visit the site so I doubt that they'll be offended that I think they're weird.  Don't worry.  I won't send them messages or stalk them on Facebook.

Funny though that just a few months ago everybody was going to quit Facebook because they were selling personal data and had poor security.  Outrage!  Zuckerberg lied to Congress!  Now it's all back to "normal" like nothing ever happened.  Even my own family members are right back on it.  They're addicted.

Society itself is getting weirder and weirder, in my opinion.  These people are just part of the background.  Carry on.  Thanks for keeping the site going.

Edit - and by the way, they're ALL from 2015.  Not more.  All.

Thank you again for replying, I know you are busy.  I'm getting them on my email "junk" folder, it's a msn.com that I've had since '94.  It has to be from facebook.  That's the only thing different I've done since it started.  I think my email address has triggered it all as I'm getting flooded with bullsh*t "linkedin" request.  I need to change my email on facebook to a dummy account I have through my ISP.

Thank you Mike!

I think I found out why only 2015 is showing updates.  My developer account was limited in following years because I didn't set it up correctly to create the back-end links.  I may end up going through the process again, but, FB has made the developer process very tedious and I don't have a lot of time to mess around with it.  From what it looks like, there is no foul play, hackers, or super spy's as mentioned in your subject.  Thanks for alerting this to me.
