grannyknot Posted November 13, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 13, 2018 I'm trying to come up with a plan to scrape together $4,500 to grab this cute little guy, a gem. It's only an hour north of me. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-auto-body-parts/barrie/1965-datsun-quarter-ton-truck-super-rare/1397489416?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61080-not-a-z-but-so-charming/ Share on other sites
Mark Maras Posted November 13, 2018 Share #2 Posted November 13, 2018 I like it. However, in my 520 there was a couple of things I didn't like. My knees would bump the bottom of the steering wheel whenever I used the brakes or the clutch and the upright seating position wasn't comfortable. I'm 5' 7". I doubt this little gem has much legroom either. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61080-not-a-z-but-so-charming/#findComment-561579 Share on other sites

Oh I probably wouldn't drive it much, I just want to take it apart and put it back together, yes I was one of those kids, my Mom would never leave me alone with a multi driver. 1 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61080-not-a-z-but-so-charming/#findComment-561590 Share on other sites

It'd be fun to renew one that old. My mom never did understand why I HAD TO disassemble and reassemble my new bike and anything else I could get my hands on. The urge lives on. 1 2 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61080-not-a-z-but-so-charming/#findComment-561594 Share on other sites
siteunseen Posted November 14, 2018 Share #7 Posted November 14, 2018 It was mom's Kirby vacuum cleaner for me. But she was smart enough to to challenge me. Lady never had tangled up necklaces. 3 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61080-not-a-z-but-so-charming/#findComment-561598 Share on other sites
zKars Posted November 14, 2018 Share #8 Posted November 14, 2018 Every time one comes up for sale, I think, "yeah, do it". Then I remember I don't fit in one. Not even close. Like Miata's... I could turn it in to a club cab and drive from the back seat I guess. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61080-not-a-z-but-so-charming/#findComment-561610 Share on other sites

I just looked at my phone for pictures but couldn't find any.
