Mike Posted January 10, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 10, 2019 I saw a video for a deburring tool that looks interesting. Any of you tried one of these? (by the way, they are not a sponsor or affiliate but I think they should be if the tool is good!) siteunseen Posted January 10, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 10, 2019 Pretty neat. Wonder how much it cost? Great video production! Guitar and beer. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61378-deburring-tool/#findComment-565598 Share on other sites
zKars Posted January 10, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 10, 2019 I'm sure they work well. Clear quality variations between the top and bottom though. Might do one stud with the top one..... Mike Posted January 10, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted January 10, 2019 I found a lot of mixed reviews for deburring chamfer tools in general. It seems they work fine when used correctly but the price for the brand above is quite high ($90/usd). There are other less expensive alternatives which may include Chinese knock-offs... but, if these tools have a limited lifetime the other brands may be a better alternative. Here's what I found on this tool: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=deburring+chamfer+tool Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61378-deburring-tool/#findComment-565601 Share on other sites

Mark Maras Posted January 11, 2019 Share #10 Posted January 11, 2019 Most of the bolts in the video looked like they needed the threads chased too. I'll stick with my tap and die set. 3 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/61378-deburring-tool/#findComment-565663 Share on other sites

Captain Obvious Posted January 11, 2019 Share #12 Posted January 11, 2019 I've got a lot of tools (including some specific deburring tools), but I don't think I've ever had the need for that one pictured. Am I missing something? Are everyone's lug nuts boogered up at the tip or something?
