jonbill Posted April 18, 2019 Share #15 Posted April 18, 2019 http://datsunzgarage.us/p90/ interesting noteI expect everyone knows the bit about p90a being hydraulic tappets isn't universally true. And they didn't only come on turbos. But they definitely do produce good power. I've learned something here! Thanks @LeonV and @Sailor Bob I was going on the P79 I had that didn't have the hole for the pump, sorry. And I agree with LeonV, my 10 lb. Tilton flywheel was the best upgrade for the money or "bang for buck". My 2.4 revs like a motorcycle. Works really well with a cheap Exedy 6009 clutch kit. Sailor Bob Posted April 26, 2019 Author Share #24 Posted April 26, 2019 Trying to get the thermostat housing off the old engine. Enthusiasm snapped off the long bolt head and im guessing the bolt is rust seized. Perfect thermostat in it. Frustration is slowly turning to hammer time.
