Hi guys, I pushed out a pretty major upgrade to our website design.  The new design should hopefully make things easier on new users and it also gives us some enhanced capabilities for our daily users.  I'm still doing a bit of editing to the mobile version of the site and you should see those changes automatically happen in the next week.

Also, here's a fun fact for you.  Did you know our statistics show that 50% of our visitors are accessing the site on a mobile device?  I know it was an interesting fact for me to discover this week.  So if you are a mobile user and see any issues, please take a screenshot and send over a bug report.

I think 90% of the time I use my tablet to access the site. Theother 10% is to dig up a pdf and post for someone. I don't use the app, just the normal desktop version.

If I'm on holiday, I'll use the app on my mobile, but I prefer the desktop version. Sorry, I'm old school.

Nice work Mike. Appreciate it?

Mike my primary viewing is done on my 10 in iPad. I use a laptop less than 5%. I stopped using my iPhone probably a year ago when the icon went away.
if I wanted to go back to the iPhone some what is the best way to access?

Let's hear it for desktops?️?☎️  Mike, love the new look.

That is a sad fact.  Mobile device is live a 5"TV when you can have 60"

On a similar note, someone once said that if the telephone had been invented after email, it would have been proclaimed as a miracle.

Thanks guys!  It's been a challenge keeping up with the latest design trends and user interaction.  What works on desktop doesn't always work correctly on mobile devices.  Glad to hear the Tapatalk platform is still working.  I'm looking at doing our own app again, but the website scaling (defined as 'responsive design') seems to be working well.  I did find some text alignment issues when using my phone that can be easily remedied.  I do like the idea of having all information at your fingertips -- especially when using a mobile device from the garage.

What do you guys think of the sliding banner across the top of our home page?

Tapatalk is great, but, you will see some limitations such as the inability to browse our classifieds.

Not sure what this symbolizes, but, can I assume it represents the limited view with Tapatalk?

I think it represents the difference in viewing on a mobile device versus viewing on a larger laptop or desktop screen
