Many years ago I purchased "The Zcar Microfiche CD." I haven't looked at it in years and am now running that most modern (eye role) of OSs Windows 10! I cannot get the CD to work on my PC.

Is there a way to use this as credit to download a version? Can I access just the files on the disk and if so, which do I need? I really want to use the resource, but right now I am locked out. Any suggestions will be welcome.

Thanks all.

I could have sworn that the data is stored as PDF files.

Hey @DannDZ, I just gave you access to the file download now.  Thanks for supporting the club!

Yeah, they are PDF files on the CDROM.  When I created the disc, it automatically launched with a nice menu.  With new versions of windows, it may not be auto-launching.  Instead you'll have to browse to find the files.  They are located in the following folder on the disc:

\BASEQ3\PAK\YODA

@Mike Thanks for giving me the access. In the end, I was able to find the PDF files on the CD-ROM. I just didn't know where to look, but when I made a general search of the CD for *.PDF I was able to find them and copy them to my hard drive.

I did try downloading the files in the link, but it would not allow me to save them, as they are secured. You don't need to do anything as I have my files, but I just wanted you to know in case you run into this in the future.

Thanks again for your quick help.

Dann
