Emptied history and the site is still super slow to load a page.  Other web sites are fast, seems to be CZCC only.

Agreed.  I clicked on the 400Z post and while I sat waiting and waiting for it to load, I saw this topic listed.  ?

Yesterday 29th of june i also had .. again.. lots of waiting.. i click a topic on the frontpage and get a minute nothing, now days i click after 5 secs or so another and hopla.. (!)  I get the next selected topic instantly.. how is that possible?

Later on i pic the first topic i had selected and i get that one in a sec.. or max2!

btw.. i did'nt know emptying a history should work... never done that before! Not going to!

I don't know if Mike wants more site activity or not but if he does then he should try to figure out why the site hangs up and doesn't load when I click on a post link.  I'm watching the spinning circle on a post I wanted to reply to.  Seems like it might be related to the VRBO ad that autoplays even though I'm logged in.  It looks big.

 

Hmmm...  looks like the server ran short on disk space due to a fairly large backup...  I thought it was originally Russian bots but we are blocking all of those.  I just fixed the space issue now.  Sorry about this I was gone all weekend visiting family.

There are 12 topics on the startpage of the site.. and if i want let's say: No:3 then it can take a minute to load.. or doesn't at all.. but is i go to another (at random) that one will load in about 1-2 second's!!  It's all random, sometimes it loads directly other times i wait 3-4 sec's and go to a random other topic and.. yes it load's in 2-3 seconds at most.. haha funny stuff electronics and programming.. i once learned how to program machinelanguage..  i know (sort of) how difficult this problem can be.. and no i would not know because computers are not my hobby haha..

BTW.. it did this now for many month's...

offcourse.. today all is well!  Every topic i clicked was loaded within 2 second's!   (we have a saying.. when your at the dentist, the pain is gone..)

haha, yeah when I'm around the site behaves fine...  if I leave for a few days it goes bonkers

Maybe Mike's running blockchain software.  Or somebody else has hacked in to his servers and is doing it.  His servers have to complete an operation before they can free up for the web site.  I still get the spinning wheel quite often.

I rarely get that, but when i choose a topic on the main topic listing it can take more than 50 secs. (I'm not waiting that long!)  but when i think it's not working then i choose after 5-10 secs another topic on the list and i get that one instantly!  then later on i go to the first one and get that one instantly also.. i don't get it..  Computers are stupid! 😮
