  • Same here. I wonder if I'm addicted to this forum. It felt like I was going thru withdrawals yesterday.

  • I don't know what to make of today's ad.  It's new.

  • Yuck, server was offline Sunday.  Sorry guys, there was an issue at our host and I didn't know about it until later on in the afternoon.  All fixed now of course.

I get the hang time as well. My solution has been to re-click whatever link I was after and it goes through. At least most of the time, on occasion I would click a third and forth time but it usually works on one of those. Seems to only occur on this site though. Even coming in fresh from another page, if it lags, I just click again. Give it a try.

I’ve been getting lots of server timeouts, and a message suggesting a problem with the Classic Z Car website.

I've had the same problem. Tried multiple clicks, but that didn't work. What does seem to work is waiting for the prompts (Arrow briefly turning into a pointing index finger and then back to an arrow.) then clicking. I don't have to wait for the prompt on other sites.

My main reason for pointing this out is that, if you're like me, when a site is slow you just move on to another web site.  So Mike is probably losing views.  Just trying to help generate some revenue.  If the ads on the site showed car stuff instead of women's clothing, maybe even more click-throughs.  I'd click through CZCC if there was something to click on.

I had two spinning wheels going at the same time.  One made it the other timed-out.  Weird when your computer gets a timeout.  Bad computer!, take a timeout?

One reason I seldom stop in is that it consistently takes 20+ seconds for the forum to respond to any click.  It just burns up too much time.

Sounds like everyone is have a similar albeit slightly different issue with the site. I suppose it could be affected by many variables, we all have different computers and operating systems, different web providers etc etc...I would still think there is a common denominator in the forum site itself. Some code is not right, or broken. IMHO

Dude, what have you been browsing on the innerwebs? Sweatshirts for your biscuit?

😆

I don't think it's coming from my browsing.  I only see it on CZCC.  I barely notice it anymore, but I just don't understand it.  The torso shots are interesting, but the products are not.

Here's what shows up on other car-oriented web sites.

Here's a Ford site -

Zcar.com seems to get it.  I think that they're owned by some sore of company that buys dying web sites and brings them back to life.

Hybridz.org.  SuperDan has pulled way back on being involved in his creation but still, the ads are related to cars.
