Popular Post SteveJ Posted July 4, 2021 Popular Post Share #38 Posted July 4, 2021 I took the Z to our local "Worship" car meet. When the local Cars and Coffee (known as Caffeine and Octane here) got too big, some people started a smaller show for the same time slot that attracts more of a "car people" crowd. Anyway, there were 8 S30s there with the 280Z being the most prevalent. I got to see @jonathanrussellfor the first time in about 4 years, too. 5 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624530 Share on other sites
SteveJ Posted July 4, 2021 Share #39 Posted July 4, 2021 And here's a video from walking around the lot at the same meet. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624555 Share on other sites
Reptoid Overlords Posted July 4, 2021 Share #40 Posted July 4, 2021 Installed some T3 coilovers. I like the look over stock ride height a lot better. It's pretty mean around the corners too. A little more reasonable rear ride height 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624556 Share on other sites
siteunseen Posted July 4, 2021 Share #41 Posted July 4, 2021 Hooked the trickle charger up anticipating a early morning drive. 62 degrees this morning so hoping for the same tomorrow. I think I'll take the dog? 4 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624557 Share on other sites
madkaw Posted July 5, 2021 Share #42 Posted July 5, 2021 Continued on with the dual exhaust fab . I now have pipe from front to back - but nothing solidly welded yet. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624559 Share on other sites

Glad to hear you were able to get it raised up some and is riding well.Did you go with their standard coil rates?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624568 Share on other sites

siteunseen Posted July 11, 2021 Share #46 Posted July 11, 2021 Took it out for a 30 minute drive. Broke the ceramic pads loose, no squeaking , burnt the older fuel in the float chambers and the delivery system. Heated the tires up to keep any flat spots away. Italian tune up! Everything's working good so I'm happy for another month or so until I do it again. Weather's nice down here for a change. You NW folks are experiencing what we do every year I've read. Sorry about that but it's El Nino acting up a lot sooner than normal. They say "going to hell in a handbasket" around here when there's no end in sight. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624907 Share on other sites
psdenno Posted July 11, 2021 Share #47 Posted July 11, 2021 Had mine flat bedded to my mechanic on Thursday to correct a couple problems and hope to have it back Monday or Tuesday. It was 120º here yesterday, so probably won't be doing much more with it for a while. 2 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624909 Share on other sites
Racer X Posted July 12, 2021 Share #48 Posted July 12, 2021 Started getting the 72 ready for the engine swap. Removed the exhaust, drained fluids, disconnected stuff underneath. Next weekend I hope to get it in position to pull the engine out. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/64911-2021-what-did-you-do-towith-your-z-today/?page=4#findComment-624923 Share on other sites
