Help: Male Bullet To Bullet Conector

Recommended Posts

Swapping out the automatic to manual transmission. The reverse switch has two male bullets. The automatic wiring harness has the same male connections. Looking for a female to female sleeve to avoid cutting and replacing one side or the other. Looking for some insight here. Thanks... John

Yeah it would be fine to do, I have some on my reverse switch as well, I made it myself as I had some wire and some left over connectors from another project.

I like the connectors on vintage connections because they look similar to OEM, I’m not sure if the modern (blue, yellow, red) plastic ones would fit, they certainly don’t look pretty.

This can join them... some pliers and patience may allow you to bend a north american sta-kon connector to do the tick.

New female/female bullet connectors are one of those difficult things to find,  Vintage Connections is a great source but you could also try,  http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/connectors.html

He has some great old style connectors and is a good seller to deal with.

Although not Nissan looking these are still retro looking,  scroll halfway down the page. http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/Bullet_Connectors/bullet_connectors.html
