I have been a member here for nearly 20 years but can't access my account???

This post is being sent from a new member account I had to open (mayolives1).  I'm locked out of my original member account (mayolives) .

For some unknown reason my password doesn't work. When I request a password reset and go to the reset link provided, the message says I don't have a password reset request. When I message the webmaster@classiczcars.com it will not work. I receive a "mailer-daemon" notice from AOL.  I have tried for the last week to no avail. So how do I contact "the powers that be" and have access to my original account? Please help!

Hi guys,

Just a forgotten password issue.  @mayolives1, I sent you the new password for your old account.  You will have to log out and then try logging in with the new password.

Mike

I believe I was using Zcar.com in the late 90s. It wasn't until some time in 2001 that they required us to register usernames there, so there were a few of us posting very early as Steve. The earliest post date I can find there is Oct 30, 1998, but there are some that might be earlier. I can't tell because the database is corrupted before then. Apparently it was October 98 when they combined the S30 and S130 forums. I never did like that as too many people posted S30 solutions for the S130s and vice versa.

I just checked and it says I joined in 2000.  I remember being there closer to '98???

I was on the mailing list fairly early on, and I didn't move over to the forum until 2003. I guess I didn't know what I was missing back then. 😉

I appreciate you guys putting up with my silliness all the years. Hopefully I've added something. @Carl Becksaid what a good idea the rubber plug on the transmission tail was. That meant a lot.

I'm glad you got your memorable, for your Dad, handle back.

Too be honest I thought you really liked mayonnaise.

I thought it was May Olives until he explained it. Mayo Lives makes way more sense. 😀
