SteveJ Posted July 15, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 15, 2022 Who is joining me in Birmingham? 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/ Share on other sites
siteunseen Posted July 15, 2022 Share #2 Posted July 15, 2022 I'm going to work until 12pm Saturday the 30th. I could ride down and do the award's dinner but not 100% on that. My most loved dog has to have a benign (hopefully) tumor cut off on the 25th. It's going to be $500-ish or less, he's a big dog so things cost more. If I see you, lucky for me. I've got a shed full of parts that someone may need. In that case I could make a run down but would need to come back home for work. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642433 Share on other sites
Patcon Posted July 15, 2022 Share #3 Posted July 15, 2022 I would like to make a cameo but I doubt it. We'll see... 1 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642434 Share on other sites

We could put a couple close together and do the "shake and bake"? 1 2 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642437 Share on other sites
Captain Obvious Posted July 16, 2022 Share #5 Posted July 16, 2022 I am unfortunately not going to make this one either. It's just not in the cards. 1 2 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642440 Share on other sites
SteveJ Posted July 17, 2022 Author Share #6 Posted July 17, 2022 Well, if anyone is joining me in Birmingham, bring plenty of water and light clothing. It looks like it will be as hot as the Memphis or Austin conventions. https://www.wunderground.com/calendar/us/al/hoover/KBHM 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642469 Share on other sites
SteveJ Posted July 18, 2022 Author Share #7 Posted July 18, 2022 Hey, @zKars, I think this means you have to show up for ZCON since your car was featured. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642575 Share on other sites

Sorry, no can do. That Z passed on a few years ago, don't even have one at the moment. Dang picture makes me a bit misty, sniff..... You-all have fun this year! Drool over the new Z for me. I'll show up again next time the show is bit closer to home. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642576 Share on other sites
Tweeds Posted July 18, 2022 Share #9 Posted July 18, 2022 If, God willing, my car makes it out the shop in time, I'd at least like to show up the 29th and 30th. But, then again, this is a two month suspension thing turned nine month head rebuild slug, so who knows if I'll actually make it out of purgatory by then... 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642635 Share on other sites
dtshaw66 Posted July 22, 2022 Share #10 Posted July 22, 2022 The wife and I are going to drive up on Saturday morning for the car show, but not entering our car in it. We only live about 45 minutes away, but unfortunately work and family interfere with the other weekday events. For anyone who's been to a Zcon before, can you still buy t-shirts and such without registering for anything? ZCON T-shirts are only available after they get shirts out to people who registered but couldn't attend. Other merchandise is available at the Z store at the hotel if the Z store is open. Go to zcon.org and find the schedule to see when the Z store is open. siteunseen Posted July 25, 2022 Share #12 Posted July 25, 2022 Come on down to Alabam! Weather is nice here compared to other's. It's only 99F here. I'm having trouble between gas price and temperature signs. 2 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67649-zcon-2022-roll-call/#findComment-642915 Share on other sites
