ennisdavis Posted July 24, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2022 When i tighten the bolt for the lower control arm it pinches the bushing preventing it to move. It needs to move, preventing the rubber from tearing. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67678-280z-control-arm/ Share on other sites

ennisdavis Posted July 24, 2022 Author Share #5 Posted July 24, 2022 Should be interesting getting a torque wrench under the car in that area and applying 80lbs. Patcon Posted July 24, 2022 Share #6 Posted July 24, 2022 You could do it up on ramps or blocks. Just be sure the car can't roll off on you! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/67678-280z-control-arm/#findComment-642865 Share on other sites
