Hi all,

Quick update, in addition to using your account name, we are now allowing you to log in based on your email address.  This will help some of our members who may have forgotten their user account name but still have their email address.  Both options will still continue to work, but I figured this will help me reduce tech support requests.

Thanks!

Mike

So if somebody knows your e-mail address, they can log in as you?

Or not?

I guess so... but only if they have your password.

Email login is more secure actually, because we don't disclose them publicly on this website.  But, user account names are shown in every post.  I thought about forcing email-only logins but decided against it because teaching old-dogs new-tricks can be challenging.  😉

Honestly, if you guys can start using your email address to login instead, we can try moving that direction after everyone gets used to it.  Let me know what you think.

BTW, I also removed the social media login options tonight.  Let me know if you have any issues.
