Alfadog Posted June 30, 2003 Share #16 Posted June 30, 2003 The letter K can be deviently similar to Z in appearance... but I assure you my signature does not say 240Z !!! Have a close look My first car was a 240Z, but due to financial reasons I had to sell it earlier this year. Besides, I dont think the number of posts has anything to do with what car you own... but anyways the majority of my posts have been when I did own one Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/6826-opinions-on-those-clear-headlight-covers-for-an-z/?page=2#findComment-42427 Share on other sites
PrOxLaMuS© Posted June 30, 2003 Author Share #17 Posted June 30, 2003 it's just the fact.. that you show such a strong interest in the Z car, and you have replied to or discussed nearly 1,500times... almost all Z realated, so I figured.. why in the world don't you have a Z. I kno the number of posts don't matter, but If I had a huge interest in Honda Civic's, and I discussed stuff that much in a Civic forum I would of purchased one by now. I just didn't know that you used to have one. I am deeply sorry that you don't have one anymore But it's great you are still informing other's and helping us out when we need you. anway back to the topic... So then clear headlights would be a good choice for my orange Z car? Alfadog Posted June 30, 2003 Share #18 Posted June 30, 2003 I think you should find out if you can get them on without drilling, because I think the general opinion here is they look great, but more importantly, YOU think they look great (and they do). And I think my love for the Z car is GROWING in these times without one... 1 Bravo 6 Posted June 30, 2003 Share #19 Posted June 30, 2003   Yes, PrOxLaMuS, As Carl said, we let Alfapuppy play in our sandpit with us because he USED to own a Zed. At least his 240K is a Datsun. Besides, he's a nice, knowledgeable young bloke. By the way, where do you get PrOxLaMuS from ??????????? Rick. Zpeed Posted June 30, 2003 Share #20 Posted June 30, 2003 but they are still around, in sydney actaully i loved the headlight covers, now the next Z i buy, won't ever get them at all, i love the look, but prefer the way it came out of the factory now for some reason... toecutter Posted June 30, 2003 Share #21 Posted June 30, 2003 A freind of mine has a chrome trim that is screwed on to the outside of the headlight area that gives it that e-type jag look. He has had these for years and I have'nt seen them on a zed before. So the sit on the perimiter of the plastic should that be added too. They have'nt been used since he too does'nt wish too drill holes in the area. MAX, your location is not listed but if it is Australia I have a freind with a spare g-nose that might be for sale should u need one. toecutter Posted June 30, 2003 Share #24 Posted June 30, 2003 Yes escanlon u r on the money!!!that is ecactly what i was talking about, that is the only style I would put on to my headlights. The chrome trimming makes such a big difference. Good detective work!
