I'm going to look closely at the OER F309. It has a SS reinforcing rib but still might be narrow enough to work. As you commented on the Trico 44-180, no joy on multiple searches. The Trico 44-200 is the same blade but 20" instead of 18". I just cut them down. Available on EBay for $15 shipped. https://www.ebay.com/itm/266517031540 Roo 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/68697-wiper-woes/?page=2#findComment-659881 Share on other sites

I knew it was a mistake as soon as I hit submit. A lot of members have cats so apologies to all. It's a ping pong ball I think. 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/68697-wiper-woes/?page=2#findComment-659882 Share on other sites

Richie G Posted December 2, 2023 Share #18 Posted December 2, 2023 Im in the same boat and just took a shot on these for a 6/71. So many of the suggestions are un-obtanium right now https://www.ebay.com/itm/296003032811 I should have mine in a few days to see if they work. 2 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/68697-wiper-woes/?page=2#findComment-659889 Share on other sites

I initially tried a set of those, the metal reinforcing ribs were too wide to fit my wiper frames. Being English, perhaps I'm missing it 🤪 No problem. That's the main character of a show from the 1980s called ALF. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ALF_(TV_series) From that article: Quote ALF's move from his initial quarters in the laundry room to the attic, which he and Willie converted into an "apartment" and the death of Lucky in season four's "Live and Let Die"; in this instance, as ALF finds, despite his occasional attempts to catch Lucky with the intention of making the cat a meal, as cats are the equivalent of cattle on Melmac, he has come to love and respect the family pet too much to do anything untoward with Lucky's remains. When ALF acquires a new cat with the intent of eating it, he actually grows fond of it and allows it to be adopted by the family, although he admits to the Tanners he has become the worst kind of Melmackian, a "cat lover". 3 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/68697-wiper-woes/?page=2#findComment-659895 Share on other sites
Popular Post jfa.series1 Posted December 3, 2023 Author Popular Post Share #21 Posted December 3, 2023 We have a winner! The OER F390 is a perfect fit. It has a full length black metal backbone that slides nicely into the claws on the frame and the retaining clip locks it. Thanks to @SteveJ and @w3wilkes for the referrals. 5 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/68697-wiper-woes/?page=2#findComment-659915 Share on other sites
