Last year when i heard that Piece of CRIMINAL S#!T trump! (See what i did there no capital letters!) was to become president of america again.. i almost quit this forum..

Since when do we allow a FOREIGNER to continually talk degrading bull**** about OUR president. Why do we allow this type of nasty criticism on an American club website. Take your derogatory comments back to the Netherlands where they belong. This is America and our president here. Good or bad we honor the office of president of the United States. If this is the type of bull**** being allowed in this club,   I will quit having anything to do with this club.

For starters not everyone sees that conversation in the oval office from the same perspective...

77 million Americans voted for President Trump. That's a lot of people! There are only 18 million in all of the Netherlands. I think at this point he would like to see the killing in Ukraine stop. So would I! I believe it was avoidable. Several hundred thousand dead Ukrainians and I'm sure a similar amount of dead Russians.  I think it's unrealistic to think you will take the Donbas back from the Russians by force. To do so would take all of the European armies and the US combined. The Russians would probably resort to nukes at that point and then all bets are off. At this point the Ukrainians don't have enough soldiers. They are starting to recruit their teenagers. If you look at all the analytics of the situation, the best you can hope for now is to stop the killing. More killing isn't going to change the current situation on the ground in Ukraine. They lose more territory every day...

Its unfortunate for all those involved but those decisions have already been made. You have to deal with the facts on the ground as it stands

I also agree this is not forum to debate politics. The geography of the members of this forum is quite diverse and I suspect the politics of those members is just as diverse. That's ok. We don't have to all agree to fellowship and enjoy our cars. It didn't use to be that politics caused so much division but now every situation is described as a threat to freedom, democracy or life itself when in reality most of these situations are nowhere near as dire as that. My 2 cents...

I don't agree with smiley's comments about foreigners, that's very narrow-minded.  I reported it to Mike but he must be sleeping.  There's no question that we have problems in the US.  It will take calm and rational thought and actions to solve them.  We don't have that at this time.  We're headed for difficult times.

The one thing I don't understand is why people want to take an opportunity to soapbox about politics.  Life is full of ups and downs and not all people agree with each other.  No matter how you look at it, or what you believe, there's no reason to create animosity and division with your fellow human.  I am a firm believer in free speech but our guidelines state that all posts need to stay on topic for our group.  This post would be better served on a general social media site, but it does not belong here.  I will lock this thread.
