Hello all,

I have a 1973 240z that I have been bringing back to life. The fuse block had the parking light melted through the plastic cover and base, plus some other suspect repairs, which resulted in most of the lights not working. After getting a big wiring diagram and some late nights, I have managed to get all the lights working but not the parking lights. The grounds are good, but I'm just not getting power to the parking lights when the switch is in position 1 or 2. My color diagram shows a Green/white wire that turns into a green wire for the front and the same green/white for the rear. It also shows a green wire from the fuse panel to the other side of the light switch. If my headlights work on the same switch, why would I not be getting power to the parking lights? Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the combination switch?

Thanks for the help!

This little diagram may give you some help. There are two rockers inside the light switch that engage as you twist the knob - one for the parking/sidemarkers/tail lights/license, and the other for the headlights.

Thank you, that's a great picture with the numbers and wire colors. So number 2 is a Green/Blue coming from the park circuit fuse panel I assume?

On this switch #2 is a solid green wire going to the connector. I'm not sure what the color is for the matching wire on the other half of the connector.
