MDyer Posted September 29, 2003 Share #1 Posted September 29, 2003 Preparing to "hang" the Motorsport front air dam on my 77. This is the type that replaces the gawd-awful front bumber(Motorsport part 50-1409). Stiff, non plyable fiberglass.Question for those w/ experience with this particular airdam: There is a significant gap where the air dam mates up to the front fender, just under the amber turn indicator. What is the best way to "fill" this void? I've thought about gluing some flat plastic to the underside of the airdam, then filling with something (fiberglass, bondo, etc), then filing/sanding/buffing to shape. However, I'm afraid that whatever I do, it will develop cracks with age. Ideas/experience?
