Murph Posted January 20, 2004 Author Share #3 Posted January 20, 2004 Also, is it normal to have a small light up under the passenger side of the dash, mounted to the back of the glove box? Buggers me what it's good for? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/topic/9798-pic-of-oz-260z-2-seater-fuse-box-cover-required/#findComment-64975 Share on other sites

1 Bravo 6 Posted January 20, 2004 Share #5 Posted January 20, 2004 Well, now, Justin, you just might be in luck mate.I had a film in the camera with a couple of shots left on it so I took the cover of my 8/74 260Z 2 str. then had fun trying to get a suitable background so the white lettering would show up on the clear plastic cover. If they turn out I'll post the pics on this thread tomorrow night.Fingers crossed.Don't think I can help out with the wiring diagram but the glove box in "Precious" does have a light in it, operated by a plunger type switch located top right corner of the glove box. Opening and closing of the trap door makes it go on and off. Ain't modern technology AMAAAAZING !!!!.:devious: :devious: Rick. Murph Posted January 20, 2004 Author Share #6 Posted January 20, 2004 The race is on! Who's going to get their pics up first! But seriously, thanks guys. Your efforts are greatly appreciated! Rick: I have the light in the glove box too, but no hooked up. This light I am talking about is on the back/outside of the glove box! It lights up, under dash, the fire wall and the back part of the foot well. The wierd thing is it did work when I got the car, but now it isn't hooked up, but it wasn't me that unhooked it. Must have been the farkin panel shop... It wouldn't supprise me if I find thing they farked up until the end of time. Anyhow, there's lots of crazy wiring under there that looks non-standard. Will hopefully have that ripped out/fixed up by the end of tomorrow. 1 Bravo 6 Posted January 21, 2004 Share #9 Posted January 21, 2004 Hey, Justin, Perhaps the light was SUPPOSED to light up the floor area ????. Mate, the photo of the fuse box cover was a disaster. Being clear plastic with white lettering made it difficult for me to find a decent background. Anyway, here it is. I'll follow it up listing the fuse ratings etc. Rick. Thanks again for that.Re: The romantic toe lamp.....do other aussie zeds have them? I sure as hell can't see romantic toe lamp on the wiring diagram in the hanes manual (non aus spec).
