I don't know about everybody else in New England, but my rule is, the Z goes into the garage until after the last snowstorm, and at least 2 or 3 days of rain, to wash away the road salt. By my calculation, we are getting the rain we need this weekend!

Finished my R/T mount upgrade last night, changed the oil/filter, rotated the tires. As long as there's no more snow (fingers crossed) the Z returns to the road next week! :laugh:

That is my rule to....actually I had one of my Z's out on the road last weekend for a short little jaunt with my wife. The rain we had a few weeks back washed away the salt but there is still a lot of sand on the roads. This weekend should seal the deal.....provided we don't get another sn.......I can't bear to say it!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this is the perfect forecast to prepare the area. We might be able to uncork the Z's for 2010. You also need to give the puddles a day or two to dry up. It looks like this Tuesday or Wednesday may be perfect.

I love living here, but I am sooooo jealous of the people who get to drive 'em year round.

Well, we definitely got the rain we needed over the weekend, to clear away the road salt. The last total I heard was almost 4" in Boston, and it's still raining this morning.

The Z returns to the road on Wednesday!!!!!

New England Z owners rejoice!

My 1971 240Z stays in the garage all year. It is never driven from Thanksgiving to the end of April except to start it up once a month. I never drive it in the rain either. I am the original owner and this is why I still have it! Putting in a a rebuilt differential next week after 134,000 miles. I hope I notice a difference.
